To See the Stars Postcard

Unlike the clouds that taught me how to laugh and tell stories, the stars would teach me how to marvel and dream. I can still remember the first times we would map out adventures and constellations, the world somehow becoming bigger than I had ever remembered—a universe now unravelling before me.

For a time I learned to love the stars just as much as I loved the clouds.

And for a time, you and I would share in that make-believe.
